Entry Rules
What is Southern Exposure?
: is an independent, filmmaker-friendly, forum for showing your film or video work to a larger audience.
: It is an opportunity to see the best films and videos made by filmmakers in the region.
: It will be about presentation, discussion and interaction with other filmmakers.
: It is a chance to exert power and influence if you win the coveted "I'm Guilty of Public Exposure" award.
: It is a chance to attend seminars and classes from noted filmmakers.
When and where is Southern Exposure?
Saturday & Sunday, November 19th - 20th , noon til 8:00 p.m. all day viewing of submitted films

Rules and Submission Requirements:
Entries must be made by Filmmakers who have permanent resident status in the following states: NC, SC, TN, GA, MS, AL, & FL. Films made by non residents are accepted if they are made in the above states. Films must be completed after January 1, 2004. Each entry must include a completed application and entry fee.
Film or videos must be submitted on DVD. If you do not have a DVD we can have one made for you for $20. In addition entrants must include a 20 second representative clip for advertising purposes and a 1 to 2 minute clip for the awards ceremonies.

Entry Fees: $25 per entry. Deadline for submission is September 15, 2005 by Midnight. Entries received after Sept. 16, 2005 and before October 15, 2005 will be considered a late entry and an additional $15 entry fee will be required.
Student entry fee is $15 for early entries. Entries received after September 15 will require an additional $15 late entry fee. ( a photocopy of a valid student ID must be accompany a student submission)

DVDs will not be returned.
Entrants must fill out and application and are encouraged to include a synopsis of their work with their submission. Press kits and posters are welcome and encouraged.

Winners
You are already a winner. Isn't showing your work its own reward? NO?
Okay.... there will be a cash award of $250 for 1st prize, $150 for second prize and $100 for 3rd prize, plus the glamour of winning.....ka...ching!!
Judges
A panel of judges will award the Judges Award and the audience will select the Audience Winners so good luck.
